Main text In the margin it says: Orgnl: with Captain Juul. Dupl: with Captain Tikjøb ----- Most humble King! Your Majesty is hereby most humbly informed that the highest Resolution of 23rd July 1826 has been communicated to the interested party, and that the deserters who - I was told - before Your Majesty's resolution of 16th October 1789 were  sentenced Capitulations Crime, shall without delay be dismissed and sent home at the first opportunity. Concerning the musketeers Niels Paulsen and Frederik Gustavson, as Your Majesty most graciously have left it to me to decide if they could be granted recapitulation money or gratification for the time they have served beyond their capitulation, I think, that since their other punishment at the court-martial was milder than it would have been if they had not also been sentenced Capitulation Crime, to the best of my knowledge they are not entitled to further compensation. Most humbly B.

Main text In the margin it says: Orgnl: with Capitn: Juul. The ship Europa Dupl: with Capitn: Tikjøb ----- Most gracious King! I have sent a copy of General de la Torres' letter to me concerning Colombian armaments at St. Thomas as well as my answer to Your Majesty's foreign Department. As the latter contains the most noble of what Governor Søbøtker has stated and the inquiry confirmed, and since I hope that it will satisfy General de la Torre, I have not sent any more of this circumstantial case. I intend to send my answer to Puertorico with Your Majesty's brig. Artillery Lieutenant v. Strandgaard returned a couple of days ago from America and brought with him the rifles Your Majesty recommended. I will send these to Mr. General Major v. Bülow with the ship Europa, Captain: Juul. According to Lieutenant v. Strandgaard's bill they cost 85 Rdr 32 s.d.v.C: which I by highest order have paid him and which I most humbly ask to be repaid to my wife. Some suspicion or jealousy seem to have appeared related to this purchase, and therefore the Lieutenant was forced to buy them at two different gunsmiths and to pretend that it was a commission for some other West Indian islands that possibly would make orders of such rifles for the militia there. Just now Mr. Lang signals a Corvette which he believes to be Your Majesty's between Cabrisland and Frederiksted.
