Medley Brandt, who for a couple of years is to have sailed in the merchant marine as apprentice, I can merely recommend the present application for Your Majesty’s supreme discretion, I do, however, most humbly, on this occasion, dare to ask Your Majesty, that for the future, only officers who have acquired military degrees, might most gracefully be employed in the west indian troops.- |
